The Competency Program at Tusculum College

At Tusculum, we believe that what you study should be relevant to your life, and developing the skills needed for personal and professional success requires feedback and guidance.

Tusculum offers you courses that will have practical value long after you've received your diploma. And our Competency emphasis will ensure that your college experience has laid the groundwork for a fulfilling vocation and productive citizenship.

By the time you graduate, you will have demonstrated proficiency in nine different areas important to your success. However, it is not only our graduates who believe in the importance of the competency program.

The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools has issued a commendation of the Competency Program, heralding our efforts to be sure that students are prepared for life after graduation.
