EXCELLENCE IN THE HONORS PROGRAMS

Tusculum College is pleased to host a pioneer Honors Program Conference to continue conversation begun at the October 2007 Appalachian College Association Summit in Abingdon, Virginia, concerning the development of an ACA Honors cohort. It is the intention of the conference to provide an opportunity to build community, come to a better understanding of our Honors programs, plus generally and specifically identify what we want to see happen in our classes.

  • 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm: Registration
  • 6:00 pm: Banquet & Keynote Address
    Keynote Speaker: Dr. Robert Knott, President of Catawba College.

    Dr. Knott has served as Dean at Arkansas College, Academic Vice President/Dean of Gardner-Webb College, President of Tusculum College, Chancellor of Mars Hill College, and Provost and President of Catawba College. He is professionally active and has led Southern Association of Colleges and Schools reaccreditation team visits, served on the Kettering Foundation panel of college presidents, Tennessee Foundation of Independent College Board and on the Appalachian College Association.
