The Honors Program at Tusculum is for bright, inquisitive and motivated students who excel in courses which provide a challenge.
If you are a bright, inquisitive, motivated student who excels in courses that challenge you, provide a close working relationship with your professors, and introduce you to like-minded peers, we invite you to apply to the Tusculum College Honors Program.
In addition to stimulating courses, we also have fun outside of the classroom. Regularly scheduled events such as game night and our welcoming cook-out give students the opportunity to relax with their friends. We are also planning trips both local and abroad. For instance, we want to take Honors students to Washington, D.C.
The web site includes a profile of the director of the program, Dr. Nancy Thomas. She teaches the first course Honors students take, Quest for Meaning (this syllabus is on the web site).
Dr. Thomas enjoys interacting with students, including having them to her home for spaghetti dinners and movies.
Also on this web site, you will find an information sheet outlining the Honors courses you will be taking, as well as an application form for the program.
We are looking forward to hearing from you!
