Hi there! I'm so glad you made it to this page to meet everyone here in the Office of Admission at Tusculum College. You probably already read my welcome on the main page, so in this section, I'll share a little bit about myself with you.
I will be working with students who are applying for early admission. Basically, early admission students only need one or two credits to graduate from high school, usually in English and government, for example. In this case, you would take these two classes at Tusculum as a dually enrolled student, and finish your senior year of high school and freshman year of college, simultaneously.
Now, what about me? For fun, I like to sing, ride horses and travel. I have been to about 25 countries so far…and plan on seeing much more!
I came to Tusculum from Mary Baldwin College and Bridgewater College in Virginia. I truly enjoy working with students in admission and financial aid, and have worked with Early Admission programs for more than 13 years.
I joined Tusculum in July of 2006, and I can tell you that when you join us as a student, you will be amazed by the energy of the people here! I think this positive energy is important for a college to have.
Our academic programs are innovative and unique. There are only three colleges in the United States that offer classes on a block schedule, whereby you take one class at-a-time. If you want to know what makes us special, that's just ONE of the aspects.
