The Master of Arts in Organizational Management (MAOM) has been uniquely re-designed to provide organizational management expertise to current managers in business and nonprofit organizations through a highly integrated and application-oriented curriculum.
The MAOM program is designed to provide organizational management expertise to current managers in business and nonprofit organizations through a highly integrated and application-oriented curriculum. Students will study and apply foundational business theory, analytical frameworks and tools and explore the application of organizational management skills to the work environment. The curriculum further cultivates student ability through hands-on applications, student designed projects and participation in team exercises.
Students of the MAOM program will study the concepts and analytical tools provided by the disciplines of economics, finance, marketing, law and research methods, as these disciplines relate to organizational managers. Students will develop an understanding of the contributions and concepts, and demonstrate the skills and tools of the field of organizational management. They will also study issues and concepts of international business and law and learn to apply a range of operations management and project management tools.
The Master of Arts in Organizational Management will provide the following to program graduates:
