I have worked in the Graduate and Professional Studies department since November of 2001. I currently coordinate and oversee cohort development for
each region, both Northeast and Southeast.
I am in close communication with site directors and enrollment representatives at all times. My service area includes Cocke County and Hawkins County and I assist with other counties as well.
I received a Master of Arts degree in Education, with a concentration in Adult Education at Tusculum College (TC) in 1998; and in 1996, I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English/Communications with a minor in Journalism at TC.
I have served as part-time sports broadcaster for Radio Greeneville (WSMG AM, WIKQ FM, WGRV AM) (1994 to present); color commentator for local high school football and basketball games for three seasons (95-97); and, the "Voice of the Pioneers" for TC football and basketball games. Prior to TC, I worked for Landair Transport, Inc. for three years as a Driver Recruiter and Orientation Instructor.
In 1996, I received the Walter T. Dette Award for outstanding contributions to Tusculum College Sports and the Senior Honor Award for Academic Achievement in the Major of Communications. I enjoy working at Tusculum because I look forward to the family and team-oriented atmosphere each day that I come to work. Everyone is motivated and passionate about striving to be the best that we can be, while not forgetting to have fun along the way. Most importantly, everyone cares and shows their support for one another.
