TUSCULUM SLIPS TO NO. 14 IN COLLEGIATE BASEBALL POLL

TUCSON, Ariz. --- The Tusculum College baseball team has dropped four spots and is ranked No. 14 in the nation according to this week's Collegiate Baseball NCAA Division II Coaches' Poll announced College officials Monday.

Tusculum (44-12) has won 23 of its last 25 games while capturing the 2007 South Atlantic Conference Championship, its third straight league title.

Tusculum's 44 wins ties a school record and is currently tied for the second best victory tally in the country.  Only fifth-ranked Ouachita Baptist (45) has more wins than the Pioneers.

TC returns to action on Wednesday when it hosts USC Upstate for a 4 p.m. contest at Pioneer Park.
