TUSCULUM
MEN’S BASKETBALL LISTED IN NCAA STATISTICS
INDIANAPOLIS --- Tusculum College sophomore guard Kyle Moore is listed three times in
this week’s NCAA Division II men’s basketball statistics announced College
officials Tuesday.
Moore, a native of Gainesville,
Fla., is averaging 3.2 three-point field goals per game, which are also tops in
the South Atlantic Conference. Moore is
also 40th in the nation in three-point percentage (41.5%) and 44th
in free throw percentage (84%).
Junior guard Ryan Troutman (Mt. Washington, Ky.)
leads the SAC in assists, averaging 4.9 helpers per game, which are 46th
in the country.
As a team, the Pioneers are
ranked in two statistical categories including 39th in three-point
field goals per game (8.3) and 40th in assists per game (16.3 apg).
Tusculum (10-14, 4-8 SAC)
returns to the hardwood this week for a pair of games at home. The Pioneers will host Newberry College on
Wednesday and Brevard College on Saturday.
Both games are slated to tip-off at 8 p.m. Saturday’s game with Brevard will be “Senior
Night” as Tusculum seniors Emory Cain
(Cleveland, Ga.), Lavonti Jeter (Alexandria, Va.) and Jordan Lear (Zanesville, Ohio) will be
playing in their final regular season home games at Pioneer Arena.
