TUSCULUM RANKED NO. 19 IN USA TODAY/ESPN POLL

 

                LILBURN, Ga. --- For a second straight week, the Tusculum Pioneers are ranked 19th in the latest USA Today/ESPN Division II Women’s Basketball Coaches’ Poll announced officials Tuesday.

 

                The Pioneers (26-4) have won 11 of their last 12 games and are preparing for their first-ever NCAA Tournament.  Tusculum is the No. 2 seed in this weekend’s South Atlantic Regional which will be hosted by Francis Marion University in Florence, S.C.  TC will face No. 7 seed Lander this Friday night at 8 p.m. from the Smith University Center on the FMU campus.

 

                Tusculum is enjoying one of its best seasons in school history having already claimed its first South Atlantic Conference Championship.
