PEACH BELT CONFERENCE TO PROVIDE STREAMING VIDEO

OF NCAA DIVISION II SOUTH ATLANTIC TOURNAMENT GAMES

 

                FLORENCE, S.C. --- The Peach Belt Conference has announced it will provide streaming video of this weekend’s NCAA Division II South Atlantic Regional Women’s Basketball Tournament. Tusculum College fans can access this free service at the Peach Belt Conference web site at http://www.peachbeltsports.tv/. The free stream will be limited to the first 200 fans who wish to see the game.

               

            In addition, Tusculum fans can hear live audio for all TC games on the Pioneer Sports Network on WSMG 1450 AM in Greeneville and on the Internet at Red Zone Media. The “Voice of the Pioneers” Brian Stayton will describe all the action.  The Red Zone Media web site can be found at the following address: http://www.redzonemedia.com/.

 

                The Pioneers, who are competing in their first-ever NCAA Tournament, opens Friday night against Peach Belt Tournament Champion Lander University at 8 p.m.  Tusculum, the South Atlantic Conference Champions, is the No. 2 seed in this year’s regional, while Lander is the No. 7 seed.

 

                The NCAA South Atlantic Regional is being hosted by Francis Marion University in Florence, S.C.  The winner of the Tusculum/Lander game will face either Clayton State University or Francis Marion on Saturday at 8 p.m. in the semifinal round.
