The
Curry smashes the previous
school record of 27:07 in the 8,000-meters, set by James Ulsh at the 1999 South Atlantic Conference Championship. Stephen
Jones finished 31st with a time of 29:25.72, while Donald White place 33rd at
29:30.34. Joe Norton posted a time of 30:33.62, while Scott Howard (34:59.47) and Ben
Morgan (41:15.13) finished 62nd and 67th
respectively.
Alex Frary led the TC women, finishing fifth individually with a
time of 20:10.37 on the 5,000-meter course.
Sarah Alston placed 11th
with 20:36.79, while Alicjia Dembna
(20:54.51) tallied a 14th place showing and Marci Moore accounted for a time of 23:32.00 (48th).
