TUSCULUM MEN'S GOLF LISTED NO. 40 IN GOLFSTAT STANDINGS

 

                BLOOMINGTON, Ill. --- The Tusculum College men's golf team is listed No. 40 in NCAA Division II according to the latest Golfstat Head-to-Head standings announced College officials Monday.

 

                Tusculum finished in the top half of three of its four fall tournaments, including a fifth place showing at the Kiawah Island Invitational.  TC's No. 40 listing is the best of the eight South Atlantic Conference teams.

 

                Through its first four events, senior Nick Kinzer (Signal Mountain, Tenn.) leads the Pioneers with a 76.33 scoring average and three top 20 finishes.  Greeneville senior Sasha Catron with a 77.00 stroke average, while sophomore Chris Wynne (Johnson City, Tenn.) is third at 77.67.

 

                The Pioneers return to action Feb. 20-21 for the Presbyterian College Intercollegiate to be held in Clinton, S.C.
