PIONEERS HOST TUSCULUM MEN'S GOLF INVITATIONAL THIS WEEKEND

 

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Tusculum College will host 14 collegiate men's golf teams at the 14th annual Tusculum Men's Invitational held this weekend at the Link Hills Country Club.

 

The first round begins at 7:30 a.m. Saturday morning, followed by Sunday's final round which is slated to tee off at 8 a.m. on the 6,733 yard, par 71 lay out.

 

The Pioneers have won this event four times, including last year when Tusculum shot a tournament record 571 over two days.

 

Included in this year's field are South Atlantic Conference members, Lincoln Memorial University, Mars Hill College, Newberry College and Wingate University. Other teams NCAA Division II schools Georgia Southwestern University, Grand Valley State University, Lewis University, Saginaw Valley State University, Tiffin University and USC Upstate.  Other participants include the University of Virginia's College at Wise, Spartanburg Methodist College, Tri-County Technical College and Walters State Community College.
