TUSCULUM MEN'S GOLF IN FOURTH AT SHADWICK INVITATIONAL

 

                SENECA, S.C. --- The Tusculum College men's golf team fired an opening round 303 and is in fourth place after the first round of the Jack Shadwick Invitational, held this week at Cross Creek Plantation.

 

                North Greenville University leads the 19-team field after posting a 285 on Monday.  Methodist College is second with 293, followed by Lincoln Memorial (296) and Tusculum.

 

                Tusculum's Chris Wynne shot an even-par 71 in the opening round, while Chase Carroll fired a 73.  Lawson George carded a 77, while Jake Scheffers and Glen Vicary shot 82 and 86, respectively.

 

                The final round will be played on Tuesday.
