LAWSON GEORGE INKS WITH TUSCULUM MEN’S GOLF

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Lawson George has signed a national letter of intent to attend Tusculum College and play golf for the Pioneers announced TC men’s coach Bob Dibble.

George, a native of Knoxville, Tenn., played his prep career at Halls High School. This past summer, he shot 65-72=137 to win the Beaver Brook Open Championship.

“Lawson hits it straight and has a great short game,” said Dibble. “He should step right in and be an impact player.”

Tusculum College, located in Greeneville, Tenn., is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church, USA and is a NCAA Division II member South Atlantic Conference which is comprised of nine colleges and universities in Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina.
