LEADS NATION IN PAR 5 SCORING
BLOOMINGTON, Ill.

College's Chris Wynne leads the nation in Par 5 Scoring according to the latest
Golfstat Division II Men's Golf statistics announced
College officials.
Wynne, a senior from Johnson City, Tenn.,
is averaging 4.30 strokes on the par 5 holes he has played during the first
four tournaments this season. Wynne is
also ninth in the country in subpar strokes per
round, averaging 4.13 per round.
Junior teammate Chase Carroll (Knoxville, Tenn.)
is tied for ninth in the land in Par 4 Scoring, averaging 4.00 strokes.
As a team, the Pioneers are second
in the nation in Par 5 scoring (4.77) and seventh in subpar
strokes per round (3.13).
Tusculum's 74.80 team stroke average is also the lowest in the NCAA
II Southeast Region. Wynne leads the
team with his 70.63 stroke average, while Carroll is second at 71.00.
Tusculum recorded wins in two of its four
fall tournaments, capturing team titles at the Anderson Invitational and the
Tusculum Fall Classic.
The Pioneers return to action Feb.
4-5 at the Outback Steakhouse Invitational in Panama City, Fla.
