TUSCULUM WOMEN’S GOLF IN 11^TH AT LADY MOC CLASSIC

LAKELAND, Fla. --- The Tusculum College women’s golf team fired a first day 336 and is in 11^th place at the 2008 Lady Moc Classic, held this week at the Cleveland Heights Golf Club. The three-day, 54-hole tournament continues with Monday’s second round.

Tusculum’s Mandy Hartsock is tied for 28^th place with Sunday’s opening 79. Mary Ann Vizcarrondo tallied an 81 and is tied for 43^rd, while Emily Palenkas shot 87 and is tied for 65^th. Susanne Sisco and Adriana Vizcarrondo each fired 89 and are tied for 70^th in the individual competition.

Rollins and tournament host Florida Southern are tied for the first round lead with 301. Barry is third with 302, while Nova Southeastern (304) and Lynn (314) round out the top five. Western New Mexico is sixth with 315, followed by Florida Southern “B” (319), West Florida (320), Wingate (321), Northern Kentucky (324), Tusculum, Saint Leo (338), Webber International (338), Catawba (346), Eckerd (348) and Florida Tech (354).
