TUSCULUM WOMEN'S GOLF RANKED NO. 23 IN GOLF WORLD/NGCA POLL

 

                NEW YORK --- The Tusculum College women's golf team is ranked No. 23 in the nation according to this week's Golf World/National Golf Coaches Association Division II Poll announced College officials Wednesday.

 

                Tusculum received 34 points and cracks the top 25 for the first time this year.  The Pioneers have finished in the top half of the field in five of their six tournaments this season, including a win at the Tusculum Fall Classic this past October.  In its last tournament, TC finished fifth of 16 teams at the Lady Falcon Invitational in New London, N.C.

 

                The Pioneers return to action Saturday, March 24 when they face Lincoln Memorial University in a match-play event at Holston Hills Country Club in Knoxville, Tenn.
