PIONEERS CLAIM 4-0 WIN IN TUSCULUM-LMU MATCH PLAY GOLF

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. --- The Tusculum College women's golf team posted a 4-0 win over Lincoln Memorial University in the inaugural Tusculum-LMU Match Play event held Saturday afternoon at Holston Hills Country Club.

Tusculum's Shannon Palenkas defeated LMU's Rachel Spur 3&2, while Mandy Hartsock won her match with Sarah Oswalt 2&1. Amanda Bowen won 7&6 in her match with Sarah Ross, while Becca Friddle completed the victory with a 5&4 decision over Christian Rhyne.

The Pioneers return to action March 27-28 at the J. Ralph Hargett Memorial in Monroe, N.C.
