TUSCULUM'S AMANDA BOWEN EARNS NGCA SCHOLAR HONORS
CORAL SPRINGS, Fla.

College's Amanda Bowen has been named to the National Golf Coaches Association
Division II All-American Scholar Team announced College officials. Bowen was one of 368 women's collegiate golfers
recognized with this prestigious honor.
Bowen, a native of Millington, Tenn.,
posted a 3.50 cumulative grade point average while majoring in Biology. She was a four-time All-SAC selection and
finished second on the team, posting an 80.11 stroke average, which is the
second-best ever by a Pioneer. She
finished sixth at this year's Food Lion South Atlantic Conference Championship.
During her stellar collegiate
career, Bowen tallied an 83.76 scoring average, which is second all-time at Tusculum and fifth in
conference history. At this year's Agnes
McAmis Memorial, she established a new school 36-hole
record 146. Her final round 69 (-3) tied
a school and conference record for 18 holes.
The criteria for selection are to have a 3.50 GPA and compete in at least
50 percent (Division I) or 66 percent (Division II & III) of their team's
regularly scheduled competitive rounds during the year. Bowen was the
only player in the South Atlantic Conference to earn this honor.
The Pioneers wrapped up a
successful season with an impressive second place finish at the Food Lion South
Atlantic Conference Championship.

College, located in Greeneville,
Tenn., is affiliated with the Presbyterian
Church (USA) and is a NCAA Division II member of the South Atlantic Conference
which is comprised of eight colleges and universities in Tennessee,
North Carolina and South Carolina.
