TUSCULUM FINISHES 4TH AT ANDERSON INVITATIONAL

 

ANDERSON, S.C. --- The Tusculum College women’s golf team fired a two-round score of 662 to finish fourth at the Anderson College Invitational.  TC’s Amanda Bowen paced the Pioneers with a 155 (78-77=155), which placed her third among all golfers.

 

Shannon Palenkas also finished in the Top 10 for Tusculum, carding a second-round 74 to finish with a total score of 162 for the tournament. Palenkas’ performance tied her for eight place individually.

 

Rebecca Friddle tied for 22nd with a total score of 170 (84-86=170), while TC’s Rachel Quinlan-Water placed 38th after shooting a 184 (95-89=184).

 

The next tournament scheduled for the fall portion of the Pioneers’ season will be the Unlimited Potential/Bay Tree Classic in Myrtle Beach, S.C.  The event is scheduled for Sept. 23-25.
