TUSCULUM ANNOUNCES TIME CHANGE FOR SATURDAY BASKETBALL DOUBLEHEADER
GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Tusculum College has announced it has changed the start times of this Saturday’s basketball doubleheader with Brevard College. The women’s game will begin at 6 p.m., followed by the men’s game at 8 p.m. The games were originally slated to start at 2/4 p.m.
The Tusculum men will be celebrating their “Senior Night” as Emory Cain, Lavonti Jeter and Jordan Lear will be playing in their final regular season home contest at Pioneer Arena.
Both teams return to action on Wednesday when Tusculum hosts Newberry College in a South Atlantic Conference doubleheader. The women’s game begins at 6 p.m., followed by the men’s game at 8 p.m.
The Tusculum women (21-3, 11-1 SAC) can clinch at least a share of its first ever South Atlantic Conference title when they take on Newberry. Tusculum is riding a six-game winning streak and has won its last 12 at home. The Pioneers posted a 68-60 overtime win over the Lady Indians last month.
The TC men (10-14, 4-8 SAC) have won two of their last three outings, including Saturday’s 88-74 road win at Carson-Newman.
