CHANGES
ANNOUNCED FOR TUSCULUM, KING TENNIS MATCHES
GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Due to the threat of inclement weather on Friday,
the Tusculum/King tennis doubleheader has been moved to the Bristol Country
Club and will be played at 5:30 p.m. announced Pioneer head coach Tommy Arnett.
The Tusculum men enter the
spring portion of the 2007-08 schedule with a 2-0
record, led by All-South Atlantic Conference honorees Sergio Espinosa and Carlos
Garcia. The Pioneers are ranked No.
35 in NCAA Division II and are looking to return to the NCAA Tournament for a
second straight year and seventh time in the last eight seasons.
The Pioneer women went 3-0 in
the fall and are ranked 10th in the latest NCAA II Southeast Region
poll. Tusculum returns six letterwinners from a year ago, led by senior Bronwyn Hartley.
Following Friday’s dual match
with King, both teams will host Alabama-Huntsville on Sunday at 12:30 p.m. from
the Nichols Tennis Complex on the Greeneville campus.
