TUSCULUM ANNOUNCES RADIO BROADCASTS OF WEDNESDAY SAC TOURNAMENT GAMES

 

                GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Tusculum College has announced that both quarterfinal round games of the 2008 Food Lion South Atlantic Conference Tournament involving the TC men and women’s basketball teams will be aired live on radio and on the Internet.

 

                The Tusculum/Lincoln Memorial women’s game will air on WSMG 1450 AM, while the Tusculum/Catawba men’s game will be on WIKQ 103.1 FM.  On-air programming begins at 6:45 p.m. for both games with tip-off at 7 p.m.  Both contests will also be available on the Internet on the Tusculum College Athletic site and Red Zone Media.

 

                Brian Stayton, “The Voice of the Pioneers”, will be at Goodman Gym in Salisbury, N.C. with the men’s team, while Justin Jeffers will describe the action of the women’s game from Tusculum’s Pioneer Arena.

 

                “Tusculum College is very grateful to Radio Greeneville, Inc. for supporting our basketball programs over the years,” said Tusculum sports information director Dom Donnelly.  “We are very appreciative of Radio Greeneville and their family of networks in broadcasting our basketball games.”

 

                Quarterfinal winners will advance to this weekend’s semifinal and final at the Catawba Valley Community College Multipurpose Arena in Hickory, N.C.
