2007 TUSCULUM SPRING ATHLETIC DIRECTOR'S HONOR ROLL ANNOUNCED

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- One-hundred and forty-seven (147) student-athletes have been named to the 2007 Tusculum College Spring Athletic Director's Honor Roll announced Ed Hoffmeyer, TC Director of Athletics.

To be selected to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll, a student-athlete must accumulate either a semester or cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale.

The Tusculum football team boasted the most student-athletes on the honor roll with 33, followed by baseball (22), women's soccer (17), softball (10) and volleyball (10).

The TC women's tennis team had the highest cumulative grade point average of the 14 sports sponsored by the College with a 3.353 team GPA. The men's tennis team was second with a 3.305 GPA, followed by volleyball (3.234), women's basketball (3.129), women's cross country (3.036), women's golf (3.026), softball (3.018) and women's soccer (3.014).

Tusculum College, located in Greeneville, Tenn., is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church, USA and is a NCAA Division II member of the South Atlantic Conference which is comprised of nine colleges and universities in Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina.
