TUSCULUM MEN’S SOCCER DEFEATS MARS HILL, 2-0

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tusculum men’s soccer team (6-5-1, 3-1 SAC) defeated Mars Hill (6-6-1, 0-4 SAC), 2-0, Wednesday night on Pioneer Field.

Bruno Conceicao had both Pioneer goals in the victory marking his tenth and eleventh goals of the season. Conceicao struck first at the 29:50 mark with a pass from Anteneh Lemma. Conceicao scored his second goal of the game at the 77:00 minute and was assisted by Lucas Paulini.

The Pioneers out-shot the Lions 15-11. TC goalie Lance Moore had six saves while Mars Hill goalie Sean Merfeld had seven.

TC will host the University of Mobile Saturday at 8 p.m.
