TUSCULUM MEN'S SOCCER INKS THREE

 

                GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Three student-athletes have indicated they will attend Tusculum College and play soccer for the Pioneers announced TC men's coach Brett Teach.  Joining the Tusculum program for this coming fall are Elliot Livesay, Luke Winfield and Dean Hopewell.

 

                Livesay, a 6-1, 170-pound midfielder from Preston, England, comes to Tusculum from Lancaster and Morecambe College where he attends their Center of Excellence.  He was a member of the ECFA North-West championship squad that also captured the U-19 Open College Cup title.

 

                "We are very proud to have Elliot as our first signee to our program," said Teach.  "He is a quality student-athlete who has played for some of the biggest youth clubs in England.  He will add energy and creativity to our team."

 

                Hopewell will be looked to strengthen the Tusculum defense.  The 6-0, 170-pound central defender is from Leicester, England and attends Loughborough College.

 

                "We're very excited to add Dean to our program," added Teach.  He's a solid defender who plays at a very high level in England.  We expect him to provide leadership and toughness to our team."

 

                Winfield, a 5-8, 145-pound forward from Leicester, England, was teammate of Hopewell's at Loughborough College.

 

                "Luke is a creative and exciting attacking force.  He will be a one-on-one dynamo either on the flank or up front and will be a tremendous addition to our program."

 

                Tusculum College, located in Greeneville, Tenn. is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church, USA and is a NCAA Division II member of the South Atlantic Conference which is comprised of nine colleges and universities in Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina.
