LANCE MOORE NAMED SAC MEN'S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK

ROCK HILL, S.C.—Tusculum goalkeeper Lance Moore has been named the South Atlantic Conference Men's Soccer Player of the Week announced league officials Tuesday.

Moore, a native of Morristown, Tenn., recorded a shutout in Tusculum's scoreless tie against No. 16 Lander University on Sep. 25. He tallied 10 saves against the Bearcats. He followed with eight saves in Tusculum's 7-2 win over SAC foe Newberry College on Sep. 29.

The SAC Player of the Week is selected by a vote of the league's sports information directors. Tusculum (5-5-1, 2-1 SAC) returns to action Wednesday night when the Pioneers host Mars Hill College at 7 p.m.
