Tusculum Men’s Soccer No. 17 Nationally and No. 2 Regionally

 

MISSION, Kan. --- The Tusculum College men's soccer (9-6-2) ranks 17th  in the

NSCAA/adidas® Division II Men’s Soccer National Rankings and second in the Appalachian Regional rankings.  

The Pioneers went 2-0 the week of Oct. 15 with a 5-0 victory over South Atlantic Conference rival Catawba and a 2-0 victory over Lenoir-Rhyne.

 

Junior Bruno Conceicao has recorded 15 goals and four assists. Seven of Conceicao’s goals are game-winners. He was named the SAC Player of the Week after scoring two goals against Catawba and one against Lenior-Rhyne. Sophomore goalie Lance Moore has recorded 73 saves and has five shut-outs.

 

TC will travel to Anderson for a 4 p.m. match Saturday.
