Tusculum Men’s Soccer No. 3 In NCAA Appalachian Region

 

INDIANAPOLIS --- The Tusculum College men's soccer team are listed third in this week's NCAA Division II Appalachian Region rankings. 

 

The Pioneers  defeated Mars Hill in the quarterfinal round of the 2007 Food Lion South Atlantic Conference Men’s Soccer Tournament Tuesday. 

 

Junior Bruno Conceicao has recorded 15 goals, including seven match-winners, and five assists. Conceicao is 26th in the country in goals per match and 22nd in points per game. A native of Aruba, Conceicao averages .88 goals per match and 2.0 points per match for the Pioneers this season.

 

No. 23 Tusculum (10-7-2) will travel to Rock Hill, S.C. and face No. 8 Wingate (16-3-1) in the semifinal round of the SAC Tournament Friday at 3 p.m.
