Tusculum Men’s Soccer Falls to No. 8 Mobile, 2-1

 

 

GREENEVILLE, Tenn. – The Tusculum men’s soccer team (6-6-1) fell to No. 8 University of Mobile (9-2-1), 2-1, Saturday night on Pioneer Field.

 

The Rams scored first with a penalty kick scored by Matt Watts at the 20:12 minute mark.  The Pioneers retaliated at 21:20 with a goal by Bruno Conceiaco. Conceiaco recorded his 12th goal of the season and was assisted by Lucas Paulini.

 

Watts scored the game-winner and second goal of the game at after a Pioneer foul and free kick. Tusculum and the Rams each had 13 shots. TC goalie Lance Moore had six saves while Mobile goalie Jason Williams stopped seven.

 

The Pioneers will host South Atlantic Conference rival Carson-Newman Tuesday at 7 p.m.
