Gareth Williams Named South Atlantic Conference Player of the Week

ROCK HILL, S.C. —Tusculum’s Gareth Williams has been named the South Atlantic Conference Men’s Soccer Player of the Week.

Williams, a native of Wrexham, Wales, had three goals and one assist in leading the Pioneers to two wins last week, including one goal in the 2-0 win over #17 Wingate. Williams is second on team with four goals and six assists and ranked 12^th nationally for assists per game (0.71) the week of Sep. 17.

The SAC Men’s Soccer Player of the Week is voted on by the league’s sports information directors.
