GREENEVILLE, Tenn. – Danielle Tanner's third goal of the season proved to be the match-winner as the 14th-ranked Tusculum College women's soccer team posted a 2-0 victory over Pfeiffer University Wednesday evening at Pioneer Field.
Turner headed the ball into the net in the 15th minute with a high pass from Nicole Ferris for the first goal. Junior Kelly Barron scored her first goal of the season on an assist by freshman Courtney Turner at 19:46.

The Pioneer defense stayed strong
in the second half as freshman keeper Tori Hadjopoulos recorded her third shutout of the season.
TC out-shot Pfeiffer (1-3) by a 14-8 margin as Hadjopoulos recorded five saves and Suzie Hinman had seven.
The Pioneers (4-2) will host King College Saturday at 5 p.m.
