TUSCULUM WOMEN'S SOCCER RANKED NO. 7 NATIONALLY

 

MISSION, Kan. --- The Tusculum College women's soccer team ranks seventh nationally in the NSCAA/adidas Division II Women’s Soccer Rankings and first in the Southeast Region.

                The Pioneers remained seventh in the national poll and are the highest ranked team from the South Atlantic Conference. Carson-Newman (7-1-0) advanced two spots from 20th to 18th after a 2-0 week with victories over Maryville and Brevard.

 

Tusculum (6-2) went 1-0 last week as the Pioneers defeated South Atlantic Conference rival, Mars Hill 1-0 (Sep. 12). Junior Danielle Tanner had the lone goal in the victory marking her fourth of the season.

 

Tusculum will travel to SAC rival Lincoln Memorial on Wednesday for a 4 p.m. match.
