MATCH TIMES SET FOR WOMEN'S SOCCER REGIONAL

 

                INDIANAPOLIS --- The match times for the 2006 NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Southeast Regional have been announced. 

 

Tusculum College (12-2-3) will be the No. 2 seed in the four-team regional and will face No. 3 Armstrong Atlantic State University (18-3-1) this Friday beginning at 11:30 a.m. at McCown Field on the campus of Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City, Tenn.

                Carson-Newman (13-1-1) is the top seed in the regional and will host No. 4 Columbus State University (18-3-1) at 2 p.m. in Friday's second match.

 

                Sunday's Southeast Region final will begin at 2 p.m. with the winner advancing to the NCAA Quarterfinals at the site of the South Region champion on Nov. 11.

 

                Tusculum makes its second consecutive trip to the NCAA Tournament and third postseason appearance in four years.

 

                Tusculum College, located in Greeneville, Tenn., is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church, USA and is a NCAA Division II member of the South Atlantic Conference, which is comprised of nine colleges and universities in Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina.
