HADJOPOULOS NAMED
SAC WOMEN'S SOCCER PLAYER OF THE WEEK
ROCK HILL,
S.C. – Tusculum
College’s Tori Hadjopoulos
was named the South Atlantic Conference Women’s Soccer Player of
the Week, conference officials announced today.
Hadjopoulos,
a freshman goal keeper from Greeneville, Tenn. (Greeneville HS) led the Pioneers to a 1-0 win over Mars Hill College in TC's league opener.
She has four shutouts overall on the season.
Statistically, the Pioneers are ranked nationally in Division II in
save percentage (29) and in goals against percentage (33). Tusculum
is ranked first in the Southeast Region and seventh in the NSCAA national
poll.
The
conference's eight-member institution's sports information directors select
the 2007 SAC Women’s Soccer Players of the Week.
