TUSCULUM SOFTBALL LISTED IN NCAA STATISTICS

INDIANAPOLIS --- The Tusculum College softball team is listed in five categories according to his year's first installment of the NCAA Division II statistics announced College officials.

Tusculum (24-15, 3-5 in South Atlantic Conference) is 13^th in the nation in double plays turned per game, averaging 0.46 per contest. TC is also 16^th in doubles per game (1.77), 17^th in triples (0.36 tpg), 35^th in slugging percentage (.463) and 48^th in home runs per game (0.67).

Individually, senior first baseman Chrissy Wilkison (Lake Forest, Calif.) is mentioned twice in this week's statistics. Wilkison is 17^th in runs batted in per game (1.15) and 47^th in slugging percentage (.728).

Sophomore Holli Cadenhead (Van Vleck, Texas) is 22^nd in triples per game, averaging 0.14 per contest.

Following Thursday's SAC doubleheader against Newberry College, Tusculum will host Kentucky Wesleyan College on Friday for a 5 p.m. twinbill at Red Edmonds Field.
