LIMESTONE MEN UPSET NO. 35 TUSCULUM, 6-3

 

                GAFFNEY, S.C. --- With a pair of doubles wins and four singles victories, the Limestone men's tennis team recorded its first win over a nationally ranked opponent as its defeated No. 35 Tusculum College Saturday.

 

                Tusculum gained a point at No. 1 doubles as the duo of Leonardo Guaycuros and Antonio Oliver posted an 8-6 win over Martin Greenhalgh and Peter Elsborg.

 

                Oliver also posted a point in singles following his 6-2, 6-1 win over Christopher Ross-Da at the No. 2 flight.  Julien Jacob recorded a victory against Jafet Banuelos 6-3, 3-6, 10-8 at No. 5 singles.
