NO. 39 TUSCULUM MEN’S TENNIS BEATS MILLIGAN 8-1

 

                GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- The No. 39 Tusculum College men’s tennis swept all three doubles matches and five of six singles as the Pioneers defeated Milligan College 8-1 Sunday afternoon at the Nichols Tennis Complex.

 

                Of the three doubles points, Nicolas Bigler and Julien Jacob defeated Stuart Makinson and Bryan Upshaw 8-1 in pro sets at the No. 3 flight.

 

                Tusculum also got points at singles from Bigler, Sergio Espinosa, Carlos Garcia, Leo Guaycurus and Hunter Beal.  Milligan’s (1-4) lone point game at No. 3 singles as Ryan Reynolds defeated Henrique Rodrigues 6-2, 6-3.

 

                Tusculum (6-1) will host No. 36 Limestone College on Tuesday for a 4 p.m. match.
