TUSCULUM MEN BEAT TENNESSEE WESLEYAN 8-1

 

                GREENEVILLE, Tenn.--- The No. 37 Tusculum men’s tennis team recorded its seventh consecutive victory as the Pioneers defeated visiting Tennessee Wesleyan 8-1 Friday at the Nichols Tennis Complex.  Tusculum improves to 12-1 on the season, while TWC slips to 1-7 on the year.

 

                Tusculum swept the three doubles matches, including the top flight as Sergio Espinosa and Carlos Garcia won 8-1 over Newton Mizutani and Guilherme Cervezao.

 

                The Pioneers return to action Saturday afternoon at 1 p.m. when they host Covenant at the Nichols Tennis Complex.
