TUSCULUM CLIMBS TO NO. 35 IN ITA MEN’S TENNIS POLL

 

                SKILLMAN, N.J. --- The Tusculum College men’s tennis team has climbed two spots and is ranked No. 35 in the nation according to the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association’s Division II Poll announced College officials.

 

                The Pioneers (13-1, 4-0 in South Atlantic Conference) are also listed fifth in the ITA Southeast Region rankings.  TC is tied for first place in the conference having won its last eight consecutive matches.

 

                Tusculum opponents Francis Marion and Bloomsburg are listed 19th and 44th, respectively in the nation.

 

                Tusculum seniors Carlos Garcia and Sergio Espinosa are currently the No. 10 ranked doubles duo in the region.

 

                TC is back in action on Saturday when the Pioneers host North Greenville for a 2 p.m. match at the Nichols Tennis Complex.
