TUSCULUM, BARRY TO MEET MAY 3 IN NCAA MEN'S TENNIS OPENER

MIAMI SHORES, Fla. --- The date and time has been set for opening round match of the 2007 NCAA Division II Men's Tennis Tournament between Tusculum College and Barry University.

Tusculum and Barry will meet Thursday, May 3 at the Buccaneer Tennis Center beginning at 10 a.m. Following that match, Rollins College and Presbyterian College will square off at 1 p.m.

Thursday's two winners will meet in Friday's championship match (May 4) beginning at 9:30 a.m.

Tusculum will be making its fifth NCAA postseason appearance since 2002 and the match with Barry will mark the third time that the Pioneers and Buccaneers have met in the opening round (2004, 2005).

Tusculum College, located in Greeneville, Tenn., is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church, USA and is a NCAA Division II member of the South Atlantic Conference which is comprised of nine colleges and universities in Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina.
