BEAL, JACOB NAMED ITA SCHOLAR ATHLETES

 

                SKILLMAN, N.J. --- Tusculum College's Hunter Beal and Julien Jacob have been Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar Athletes announced College officials.  The ITA Scholar Athlete program recognizes those student-athletes who earned a 3.5 grade point average during the 2005-06 academic year.

 

                Tusculum posted a 12-8 record and finished second in the South Atlantic Conference.  The Pioneers have recorded five consecutive winning seasons.

 

                Tusculum College, located in Greeneville, Tenn., is affiliated with the Presbyterian Church, USA and is a NCAA Division II member of the South Atlantic Conference which is comprised of nine colleges and universities in Tennessee, North Carolina and South Carolina.
