TUSCULUM MEN'S TENNIS RANKED NO. 35 IN NATION

 

            SKILLMAN, N.J. --- The Tusculum College men's tennis team is listed No. 35 in the country according to this year's first Intercollegiate Tennis Association's NCAA Division II Poll, announced College officials.

                                                              

            The Pioneers (2-0) are also ranked fifth in the ITA Southeast Region rankings.  Tusculum posted a 15-7 record last season, while advancing to the NCAA Tournament for the fifth time n the last six years. 

 

            TC has six lettermen back from that squad, including All-South Atlantic Conference standouts Carlos Garcia and Sergio Espinosa.  Garcia and Espinosa are the ninth-ranked doubles team in the Southeast Region.

 

            Tusculum will open the spring portion of its schedule on Feb. 22 with a non-conference tilt at King College.
