TUSCULUM WOMEN BEAT NORTH GREENVILLE 7-2

 

                TIGERVILLE, S.C. --- The Tusculum College women’s tennis team captured five of six singles matches as the Pioneers beat North Greenville University 7-2 Friday afternoon.

 

                Tusculum (4-1) won two of the three doubles matches, including an 8-4 pro set win at the No. 2 flight by Caroline Crowe and Bronwyn Hartley.  Jennifer Sparks and Amanda Pike were also victorious at No. 3 doubles with an 8-6 win over Aubrey Sawyer and Caitlyn Whitted.

 

                Sparks, Samantha Cantu, Hartley, Pike and Heidi von der Lage recorded victories in singles action.

 

                The Pioneers return to action Saturday morning for a 10:30 a.m. match at Brevard College.
