WOMEN UPSET NO. 40
Catawba
won two of the three doubles matches and captured three singles points to
claim the win. Catawba improves to 11-8 overall and 1-2 in
the South Atlantic Conference, while the Pioneers fall to 8-3 and 2-1 SAC.
The Catawba Indians posted
victories in the top two doubles flights, including an 8-4 pro set win by Lauren Fluegge and KT Rebadow at No. 1 doubles.
TC cut the deficit to 2-1 as Jennifer
Sparks and Amanda Pike defeated Meri Cartmill and Nikiah Knox 8-4 at No. 3 doubles.
