The
Pioneers improve to 9-3 overall and 3-1 in the South Atlantic Conference, while
the Bulldogs fall to 2-11, 0-3 SAC.
The
TC duo of Danae Valderrama and Samantha Cantu posted an 8-1 pro set
victory at No. 1 doubles over Hollyn
Alberghini and Pierce Dillard.
Valderrama recorded
a 6-2, 6-1 win at No. 1 singles against Sydney
Pallesen, while Cantu won in straight sets (6-0, 6-0) over Alberghini
at the No. 2 flight. Amanda Pike, Caroline Crowe,
Heidi von der Lage and Jessi Smith also posted singles victories.
Tusculum returns
to action Wednesday afternoon as the Pioneers travel to Mars Hill College
for a SAC contest.
