TUSCULUM WOMEN’S TENNIS RANKED NO. 38

 

SKILLMAN, N.J. -- The Tusculum women’s tennis team is currently ranked No. 38 in NCAA Division II according to the latest rankings released by the Intercollegiate Tennis Association.

 

Carrying a 9-5 record, the Pioneers extended their win streak to five matches with a 9-0 South Atlantic Conference victory against Wingate on Sunday.  They have faced five opponents who join them in the national rankings:  Francis Marion (No. 13), Rollins (14), USC Aiken (18), Lincoln Memorial (32), and Limestone (39).  The Pioneers also have a match scheduled against SAC opponent and 31st-ranked Presbyterian on Apr. 2.

 

Tusculum returns to action on Wednesday, when it hosts Mars Hill for a conference match.  The action will begin at 2:30 p.m. at the Nichols Tennis Complex.
