SETS CAREER WINS MARK,

Maria
Nevarez established a new school record with her 65th career win Wednesday
vs. Mars Hill

GREENEVILLE,
Nevarez,
who have tallied a 65-7 career slate, passes former teammate and four-time SAC
Player of the Year Lesley Murray,
who posted a 64-2 singles record from 2000-04.
Nevarez also improved her career SAC record to
18-0, matching
The Pioneers won two of the
three doubles points, including an 8-3 pro set win at No. 1 singles by Nevarez and Claudia
Bolivar over Nancie Gruber and Whitney Stroud.
The Lady Lions captured a point
at No. 2 doubles as Jenny Rogers and
Maranda Dellinger posted an 8-5 win over Bronwyn Hartley and Amanda Pike.
The Pioneers return to action on
Saturday when they travel to
