TUSCULUM,
LENOIR-RHYNE SAC WOMEN'S TENNIS TOURNAMENT OPENER MOVED TO TUESDAY
GREENEVILLE, Tenn. --- Due to inclement weather, the Tusculum,
Lenoir-Rhyne quarterfinal match of the 2008 Food Lion South Atlantic Conference
Women’s Tennis Tournament has been postponed 24 hours announced TC head coach Tommy Arnett. The match has been rescheduled for Tuesday at
4 p.m. at the Nichols Tennis Complex on the Greeneville campus.
The schedule change makes
tomorrow a SAC Tournament tennis doubleheader as the Tusculum men, who won the
2008 SAC regular season championship, will be hosting No. 8 seed Lenoir-Rhyne
at 4 p.m. in a quarterfinal showdown as well.
The winners of the two matches
advance to Rock Hill, S.C. for the semifinal and final round of the SAC
Tournament. The champions of the Food
Lion SAC Tournament will earn an automatic berth to next month’s NCAA Division
II Tournament.
